Fleet buyers —
we speak your language.

For ride-hail networks, rental companies, corporate chauffeur services, and institutional buyers. The specs, warranty, and supply logic that fleet operations actually need — not the retail-flavored version.

A fleet is not a collection of retail sales. Fleets have different requirements: durability tuned for high duty cycles, specific warranty terms that survive commercial use, telemetry support for management platforms, and — often — custom branding or livery. Most Chinese automakers will sell you fleet-spec vehicles; few publicize the option. We do.

What fleet-grade actually means

"Fleet-grade" in our quotes means specific hardening versus retail trims:

Pricing at fleet volumes

Rough guidance on volume discounts, relative to our single-unit indicative FOB prices:

Order volume (per model)Typical discount vs single-unit FOB
10 units3-5%
20 units5-8%
50 units8-12%
100 units12-15%
250+ unitsNegotiated — often approaching factory-direct pricing

These are ranges, not guarantees. Specific discounts depend on the model, the factory's allocation status, payment terms, delivery schedule, and exchange rates at quotation time.

Use-case patterns

Ride-hail networks

The driving economics of ride-hail make EVs increasingly compelling: lower per-km energy cost than gasoline, regenerative braking reducing brake wear, lower maintenance frequency overall. The usual model is a 500-1000 unit rollout over 6-12 months with a specific model chosen for its combination of daily range, charging speed, and durable interior. We work with ride-hail operators across South Asia, Central Asia, and Latin America on exactly this kind of deployment.

Rental fleets

Rental demands different priorities: variety (multiple models across segments), ease of swap-out (sub-5-year replacement cycles), strong resale value at decommissioning. Rental operators often want mixed fleet orders — 40 compact SUVs, 20 mid-range sedans, 10 premium vehicles — all shipped together for efficiency.

Corporate chauffeur / executive transport

Lower volumes (typically 10-30 units) but higher spec per vehicle. Executive EV sedans and luxury MPVs dominate this segment. Custom badging, specific interior trim, and strict delivery-quality requirements are standard.

Government and NGO procurement

Formal tenders, rigid documentation requirements, specific local-content or homologation mandates. We support tender responses with manufacturer documentation, compliance statements, and sample quotations that fit standard procurement formats.

Delivery logistics for fleet orders

A 50-unit fleet order typically fills 2-3 containers or half a RoRo vessel deck. Consolidated loading reduces per-unit shipping cost significantly. We coordinate shipment scheduling around your fleet-deployment dates, including staggered delivery across multiple shipments if your cash flow or storage capacity dictates.

How to start

Send us an RFQ with: target market, target volume, target model category, deployment use case (ride-hail / rental / corporate / etc.), and any spec-specific requirements (livery, telematics, warranty). We respond with a fleet-appropriate quotation — typically within 2-3 Shanghai business days for fleet inquiries, since they require custom factory coordination.

Fleet FAQ

What's the typical lead time for a 50-unit fleet order?

60-90 days from contract signing to loading at Shanghai port, plus sea transit. For specific models with strong factory allocation, we can sometimes hit 45 days. We confirm a binding lead time per quotation, not an estimate.

Can you match our fleet-management system requirements?

Depends on the specific system. Chinese EVs increasingly support standard fleet telemetry protocols (ISO 15765, SAE J1939), and most newer models expose data through OEM telematics APIs. Let us know your fleet-management platform and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.

What warranty terms apply to commercial fleet operation?

Standard manufacturer warranty is voided or reduced by most OEMs once a vehicle exceeds specified annual mileage thresholds (often 50,000-60,000 km/year). For ride-hail and heavy rental use, we negotiate extended or custom warranty terms directly with manufacturers for larger fleet orders. Terms are specified in each sales contract.

Can I order vehicles with custom livery / branding?

Yes, for orders of 20+ units. Factory-applied paint customization (beyond standard color options) requires 60-90 day lead time and minimum order quantities per color. Vinyl wrap decals are more flexible and can be applied at our Shanghai prep facility or locally at your end.

Ready to source your next shipment?

Send an RFQ via WhatsApp or email. Our Shanghai export desk will scope your requirements and return a qualified FOB / CIF / DDP quotation — typically within one Shanghai business day.
