Frequently asked.
What is the minimum order quantity?
FOBEV accepts orders starting from one unit. Most small dealers start with 1-5 units to test a market before scaling up. Container consolidation with other buyers is sometimes possible to reduce per-unit shipping cost.
Which brands do you export?
We export Zeekr, BYD, Geely (including Galaxy EV sub-brand), Chery, Xpeng, Changan (including Deepal EV sub-brand), and selected other Chinese brands on request. We focus on new-energy vehicles (BEV, PHEV, EREV) and proven ICE models with strong export history.
What shipping modes are available?
We offer three modes: CBU (Complete Built Unit) for fastest delivery, SKD (Semi-Knocked Down) for tariff optimization in markets with high CBU duties, and CKD (Complete Knocked Down) for buyers operating local assembly plants.
Which ports do you ship from?
All shipments originate from Shanghai port. We coordinate roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) and container shipping depending on vehicle type, quantity, and destination. Yangshan Deep Water Port and Waigaoqiao are our primary loading terminals.
How long does a typical shipment take?
Lead time from order confirmation to port loading is typically 30-45 days for in-stock vehicles, and 60-90 days for allocation orders. Sea transit adds 20-45 days depending on destination — for example, Shanghai to Chattogram (Bangladesh) is typically 18-22 days.
Can you handle homologation?
We support documentation for GCC (Gulf), WVTA (Europe), COC, and similar homologation frameworks. However, local type approval is the buyer's responsibility — we supply manufacturer technical files and testing documentation.
How do payment and deposits work?
Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit on contract signing and 70% T/T against Bill of Lading copy. L/C at sight is available for orders over USD 200,000. We do not accept Western Union, crypto, or cash transactions.
